Yeap, now it is working for me, as well.

@ENTERPRISE or to whom it may concern,

Are you guys performing some kind of "Site Maintenance" or something like that, every day between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM, London / UK time? Or around these hours?
Because it seems that between these hours, so for approx. two hours in total, this issue appears! Just guessing here, trying to help...

Thank you.

Just searched this section and found a few threads about slowness and these times and nightly tasks (backups and stuff) being performed so I'm guessing it has something to do with that.

The reason for the slowness and downtime at that particular of day is due to daily backup tasks being run on the severs, these task are set to happen at that time due to the lower amount of users on the site statistically

Unfortunately there is not much we can do about it.

Keep in mind Huddler's servers are actually better than our old ones, so it should say something that doing this still comes close to seizing the whole site at random for a few hours each night/morning (and yes, I get hit by random periods of nothing loading, too). It's worth pointing out that we had a lot more problems with the database in our late vBulletin days, so we're actually in better shape now. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do about this, given that it's not a bug (thus not software-related) and just a case of the hardware having a hard time with what it's supposed to be doing. If it gets upgraded, I'm sure we'll notice without being told.

After verifying that it's not cached locally, of course. I can always look into it if it seems to be not working as expected. smile.gif

Working for me too.

Good thought LP, but let's see what we find for problem times in a few more days, even a week. At least we now have documentation that more than one of us had problem in same time frame. Not sure of where on Earth we all are. I'm GMT about 49th parallel, looniam is Lake Erie area??, no idea where you are.

Combined with what Bitemarks and bloodstains just posted we may be narrowing it down a little.

At least OCN now believes we actually have a problem and are not treating us like idiots blaming them for something we are causing. tongue.gif

My first thought (which I did not mention) was overloaded bandwidth or operating system causing upload data to load too slowly and time out. Reason I didn't mention it is both 50kb imagae and 2000kb would fail to load .. and generally if it's bandwidth / OS overload small files work when larger ones do not.

The Devs are keeping an eye on this thread and this has been ticketed for investigation. Once there is an update we will notify, but until then consider this being investigated.

Thanks
