sheesh, you could build a case out of just that sheet! Build is looking very good. I've never done a light panel mod before. I'll have to try that one of these days.

Yeah let's see how it goes...There is a surprise on that light panel divider...Acrylic shop is busy and will not be able to cut me the plates and do the special piece I ask them until next week. They are going to make a channel for me in two pieces that I going to glue and make the connection to the front rad.

I bet with some to spare smile.gif But it was cheaper to get that sheet that to buy a small piece. It cost me something like US$ 30 with shipping included (which was more than a 1/3 of the price)

Ah, good to known... My first ( and I guess not the last one) aluminum sheet. I am already planning another piece with that sheet to replace the two reservoirs in Cheesboard with a custom one. That would come latter.

Got a 6mm countersunk drill bit to make the detail for the Aquaero holes to be drilled. Was not quite enough. If drilled perfectly the m3 will not seat flush and if I drill to much the hole start to look more hexagonal than circular (right side). Tested on an ek mount.

Ok, ordered the next one 8mm so I can add just one small step to the countersunk .

now to seat and wait. Laser shop scheduled to take place on the 27th so a week from now.

Ok Folks minor update. The 8 mm countersunk bit is just perfect for the aquaero m3. Besides got this today and made the posts I will need to solder to the case to fix reservoir, radiator and windows. I like the little saw.

and best of all. Cad plans are ready and sending to laser shop now. They already closed for today but tomorrow morning they will send me the date where the cuts are taking place.

Me too...

You can see here how it came home from the laser shop. I am impressed with the solder job they did on the screw posts (all those blue posts are new). Drill the hole, set the screws post I prepared and solder from the outside. You can see where the external side is a little burn. I am also impressed by the fit of the Aquaero.

After some sanding and filling up as well as drilling the countersunk for the Aquaero. You can also see that after sanding down the finish is just perfect and does not seems to be any trace of a hole outside:
