Hello everyone,
I just started my first case-modding project and I'm trying my hand at sleeving. I can produce sleeved cables, but as expected my first results lack polish and precision.
In particular I wanted to ask you about this one piece, an IDE power cable (click for higher res):

The problem is the part where the partially-melted paracord sleeves end - because they lost their original shape when I melted the end, the heatshrink around them followed their outline creating the irregular, jagged mess that you can see; having two sleeves one over the other further exacerbates the problem.
Is there a specific technique I can use to reduce/remove this effect?
I am now proceeding to sleeve the PCI-E cables - do you have any suggestion on how to do it well?
Thanks in advance.
