Not 1 word on Skylake-e

I know Broadwell-e isn't even out yet but with all the info I have seen it seems pretty dam underwhelming to me. I am interested in the upcoming Skylake-e. I know it isn't gonna happen until 2017 but I would like some kind of news to hold me over. I have yet to hear anything on it. I have a pretty massive itch to build a new rig. Pascal is right at the door step but I want a whole new build. Anyone know of anything coming out of the rumor mill on Skylake-e? I just hope it doesn't take until 2018-2019 to get here.

I am also looking for info on Skylake-E. It would be nice to hear some rumors about the new chipset it will have. I hope it has PCIe 4.0. Post any rumors.

I'm looking forward to the Purley platform (2P Skylake).
If we get a mobo and bios which allows bclk overclock I'm jumping in no matter the cost. Last time that happened was the SR-2 and I was too young and too poor to have one.

This is a bit old but a good read if you want some speculation about what Skylake-E may bring..

sorry for taking ages to fix the heading. I have been reading up on pascal a bunch, considering a 1080 purchase to tide the upgrade itch over til skylake e. Still not one word on skylake e either. It looks like broadwell e won't have any improvements ipc wise and little in the way of threaded at that. I mean the 4 extra cores wouldn't be worth the 1500$ price tag considering I would be lucky to match single core performance. I just doubt I would get anything close to 4.7ghz and the what 5-10% ipc gain wouldn't be enough to really even notice. If I was gonna jump the gun I would be better off with the i7 5960x but I need to hold out. My cpu is running strong as can be but my mobo gets more and more dodgy every day. I just feel like skylake e is gonna bring a tangible ipc and threaded gain. That aside I also sense there will be a fair amount of added hardware features new when skylake e drops.

With all that said anyone with just the slightest hint of info on skylake e, please post me a link. I know once braodwell e has been on the market for a few months the rumor mill may start turning on skylake e. I am hoping for an early 2017 release. I have nearly $2000 plus $1500 I am taking out of my next tax check for this build. That might however be slashed if I decide to get me a 1080 or 2. I should hold out for the big boy 1000 series as well but that is another story in itself. I just have some major itching going on here.

Don't expect to hear anything concrete or believable about Skylake-E until the new year at the earliest. My guess for launch of Skylake-E is September 2017 (a pure guess), but Zen may affect that timeline somewhat (+ or -) depending on what it does or does not bring to the table performance-wise.
