EK releases monoblock for ASUS® SABERTOOTH Z170 S motherboard!


EK Water Blocks, Slovenia based premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is releasing ASUS® SABERTOOTH Z170 S motherboard monoblock. Military looking EK-FB ASUS Z170S Monoblock is here!



EK-FB ASUS Z170S Monoblock is a complete all-in-one (CPU and motherboard) liquid cooling solution for Intel® LGA-1151 socket Skylake® CPU and the ASUS® SABERTOOTH Z170 S motherboard.

Designed and engineered in cooperation with ASUS®, this monoblock uses award winning EK-Supremacy EVO cooling engine to ensure best possible CPU cooling. This water block directly cools Intel® LGA-1151 socket type CPU and power regulation (MOSFET) module. Water flows directly over all critical areas, providing all enthusiasts a great solution for high overclocks. Like with every EK monoblock, EK-FB ASUS Z170S features high flow design and this monoblock that can be easily used with the system using weaker water pump.



EK-FB ASUS Z170S Monoblock – Nickel

Base of the monoblock is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper while the top is made of acrylic glass material. We added the arctic-camouflage concept with military-inspired digital pattern from the board so the block blends in beautifully!

Planning to get that exact board. My only question is that can the EK-XLC Predator 240 be used with it? Hope this isn't a dumb question.

It can be, but you need to drain the Predator, remove the water block, hook it up to this Monoblock and then refill it properly.

Since you want to play with modding anyway I would rather recommend you go with custom loop like the new S line kits: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/kits/slim-series

I'm glad you showed me that actually. I think I might consider that since it's a bit less then the predator 240.

Sorry cosair ya gotta go, I was gonna go with a predator 360 with the build, as my space is limited and I can't really fit a reservoir as the radiator is taking all the space. Any ideas.

Also, aside from EK's website, I can't find this monoblock anywhere in the US

Maybe try using reservoir mounts such as these to mount directly onto your radiator?
