Take on today's most challenging, graphics-intensive games without missing a beat. The GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card delivers the incredible speed and power of NVIDIA Pascal™-the most advanced GPU ever created. This is the ultimate gaming platform.

This looks really good!

Judging by the performance benchmarks, this looks to be around 60-70% faster (That performance graph is odd, so I've chosen to omit this) over 40% faster than the GTX 970. It should truly be faster than the Titan X in VR but outside of that is still to be seen.

When is the NDA lifted for game benchmarks for this.

If it is like my 980ti, I might sell 980ti and grab 1070 for the same price and be happy with less power usage.

Edit : Should say that I will buy a 1070 for 450 from USA and can sell my 980ti for that price here in Turkey thats why.

That simply isn't possible. Why? 60-70% faster than a 970 gives us a... 1080.

1070 should be 30-40% faster than a 970. Which should equal a 980 TI. Nothing else.

But 1080 have +25% SP(vs980) and 1070 only +15%sp vs 970
No. 1080 have +33% more SP, higher clocks and more bandwidth. 1070 should get 980 TI performance simply by the specs alone.

Hey don't blame me, blame whoever made that graph LOL, that's pretty much what it shows.

Judging by the specs I was expecting the GTX 1070 to be above the 980 Ti and on-par or just behind the Titan X in performance.

EDIT: Also, isn't the GTX 1080 70-90% faster than the 970? I've seen some benchmarks which show this, however the numbers jump around.

A 980Ti for $379 sounds great, it will probably average slightly lower than that but it will still be a really good card. Puts the 1080 to shame anyway.

But with this founders nonsense we might see AIB's approach the $500 mark, which is still decent, but will ruin what would of been a really good value card. Lets hope that doesn't happen.

AMD has their work cut out for them with this one.

Guys, the 1070 is already using the fastest 8 gbps GDDR5 available. Dont expect overclocking miracle from this GDDR5 since it was already clocked so high at start.

256 bits means its extremely small benefit per MHz OC. Compared to G5X, 1 MHz OC = 2MHz OC vs G5.

On the other hand, G5X 10gbps can easily go higher as we have seen 12 gbps and even 14 gbps chip coming out soon.

If you think 1070 wont be memory bottlenecked, think again.

How is a 25% cut "really good"?

Nope 2560SP is 25% more than 2048SP on GTX980
1920SP is 15% more than 1664SP on GTX970

Btw PR performance slides are from GTX1080.They are excatly same for 1070/1080.They just copy/paste them.1070 should offer far less performance gain VS GTX970
1080 vs 980 there is 80% increase in teraflops and 25% SP
1070 on other hand is 6.5Teraflos and that is only 66% more vs 3.9Teraflops on GTX970 and 1070 only have 15% more SP than 970.

1080 have 80% more Tflops vs 980 and is 60-65% faster than GTX980
1070 have 66% more Tflops and should be only 40% faster than GTX970.

Btw TITANX is 46-50% faster than GTX970.
980TI is 46% faster than GTX970

I think 1070 will be slower than TITANX and 980TI by small margin.

Someone explain to me how the memory would be a problem?

#25 ·
Mine if it at least matches 980 Ti.
