Can someone Please help me get this stable if Possible

Thread Starter
Good evening Everyone,

I am new to the scene here and figured i would give it a shot and try to OC my PC and read quite a bit and did research on a lot of things. But i cannot seem to get my build stable (Using Prime95 and then the plan is to test after that with IntelBurnTest-V2 and Memtest)

but for whatever reason i cannot get Prime95 to pass not even the first test without some workers failing or Bluescreens.

I am not even sure if i am posting this in the right area, but i will give it a go and if it is the wrong area please forgive me and my rudeness for posting in this topic.

Here are my settings:

Please let me know if you need any other information to get a bigger picture or not, and thank you in advance for any suggestions in which i should try to get this going.

Thats tough to a point to grab right off the bat. tbh. i say set the bios back to defaults and then run prime 95. if it passes then great, start from the beginning again to overclock. raise the multiplier little by little ( 1 or 2 ) and test again. if it is unstable at the first raise try raising the voltage a bit and run it again. worst case scenario the cpu or mobo just wont stabily overclock anymore but i doubt it to a point. just make sure it is stable stock and go from there with little increments. it does take some time.

+1
But I just wanted to add to that and say he should stress the CPU for at least 15 minutes (not sure if Prime95 has that as default or anything, I've never used it). My old APU used to be stable for the first 10 minutes or so until it would start messing up.

Your name confused the hell out of me at first. 10/10 for username choice xD. Generally ROG Realbench is the best to fully stability test, Adia64 is a ok base level one. IBT ( Intel burn test is good but tbh im unsure how it works on amd) Prime95 is good but it really can damage your cpu internally if your not careful. but 10-15 minutes a increment to test is perfect then try for a few hours at least once you find your max point to make sure it is fully stable.

Shouldn't you be leaving the PCIE frequency at 100 MHz instead of 102 MHz?

Also 4GHz might require more CPU voltage than you may think. Have you tried something like 1.32v for the VCore Voltage?

Pretty sure all version of Prime95 are safe to use on this CPU because it isn't a Ivy bridge CPU or newer.
