Final update for 24 May.
Got a good bit done tonight but now it's time to head to bed. Work comes early for this guy. In the meantime, here are some pics.
Went ahead and took apart the mobo to paint it. Decided just to paint the shroud black and leave everything else gray and black to match the color scheme.
3 coats of black rattle can paint. Doesn't look too bad. While waiting on the shroud to dry I attacked the back panel to mount the reservoirs.
Wasn't too much of a hassle. Got one bracket a bit off, but was able to straighten it out. They aren't going to sit that low when Im done, was just making room for the 480 in the roof.
Rad installation went fairly quickly. Did have to flip around the barb slot covers to the top to let the rad sit flush against the top chassis, but other than that no issues and mounted right in. Looks pretty good. The red and gunmetal go so well together. After finishing up the rad, I brought the shroud back in since it looked like a monsoon was about to come through. Went ahead and screwed it onto the mobo to see how it looks. I think the all black/gray looks pretty good myself. Also went ahead and installed the CPU and EK Monoblock, mounted to the tray and put it in to see what it would look like. Things are coming together and looking pretty good.
Thinking im going to have to rotate the front 360 to have the openings on the bottom. Was going to try and leave it the way it is now, because was going to do a straight run up the side of the rad (think that would have looked nice). However its too easy to switch it around. Comes with putting pcs together; sometimes you have to modify your plans. No worries. No set schedule tomorrow, going to try and get the GPU's installed and some other things to prep drilling the midplate for the passthroughs. Might sleeve the pumps and get those ready, but we will see. I do need to put in an other order to PPCS for some showy stop fittings for the res ports. Thinking the real nice BP ones with the dragon in Black Chrome, or in the White. I have one white one sitting around from the P400 build, so I'll throw that on and see how it looks. Hope you all are enjoying the progress because I know I am. Feel free to chime in with your thoughts!
