I used to do the same until I started playing Genji and all you do is just reflect bastions attack on to him (also works with Torbjörns turrets) and he pretty much kills himself.

Exactly! The game is extremely well balanced IMO, but the user has to explore versatility.

Ye the game is well balanced, there is a counter for everything. Started going bastion on defense maps and keep getting play of the game by just left clicking though tongue.gif

Game is fun but has way too much cheese. I will say the engine is really solid.

Too much cheese in what way? I guess it is a bit with all the chick characters have tights etc but who cares really, the gameplay is fast-pased and amazing and the graphics is like tf but again it still stands out in it's own way.

Certain aspects of Overwatch can certainly be considered cheesy. Blizzard went too far on some specific skills and weapons. If you're a MOBA or MMO player everything might seem fine but if you're a FPS player some things are going to frustrate you.

  • The hitboxes are huge in this game.
  • Mcree's stun + fan the hammer. Ultimate also doesn't require any aiming.
  • Winston and Symmetra's weapons both aimbot for you.... Aiming is not required... Just being awake at your keyboard and mouse is enough. For an added bonus, Winston's gun is an AOE...
  • Soldier 76's ultimate is an actual aimbot.
  • Widow's ultimate is a nearly global wall hack for your entire team.
  • Reaper's ultimate doesn't require aiming.
  • Road hog's hook with enormous hit box into an easy shot+melee kills almost everyone in one shot.

The rest of the characters and their skills aren't too bad. That's still a lot of cheese that needs to be scraped off though. This game has a large emphasis on team play with hard counters. These hard counters cannot be overcome with skilled play. Individual skill doesn't matter much because of this.

A few tweaks can greatly improve this game...... But who am I kidding? This is a Blizzard game, most people will consume anything this company dumps out with a smile on their face.

Well to be honest these are ultimate abilities, you're gonna use them a few time during the whole match and for a game that is some what fast-paced (nothing like quake etc. tho.) it's fine and you keep respawning to get into the combat with very little penalty but if the game were like CS and you had one life for a round it would be very annoying, that I understand.
These abilities you listed are in my opinion quite good (except Road hog's hook) they make the fight for the objective intence and a fun battle but they rarely ever just clear out the whole other team and if they do then they just suck since those characters with crazy damaging dealing ultimates like reaper (250hp) have a hard time to stay alive alone and easly killed off.

The hit boxes are indeed a bit too big to my taste and on top of that, aim assist is too prominent imo.
The ultimates, yeah they're ults for a reason I guess. biggrin.gif

Well, at least all players have access to the cheese biggrin.gif Seriously though, what makes the game difficult for me is that it is hard to coordinate with others. I queue alone and most of the time my team mates don't speak or communicate at all.

What i do not like at all is the 20 tick rate, for a competitive game they need atleast twice that or 60.
