The only way to prevent abuse is to have it count as a regular loss.

I don't think leaving is going to be an issue as ranks stabilize, people who leave a bunch will be banned or low ranking from the losses, and it won't happen very often.

Currently, 2-2 in competitive placement. One game with randoms went really well. Hopefully, I can make it 2-8 at the end of my placement

Good luck. I ended up 2-8. Surprisingly I still got a 41 "skill rating" though. I was expecting something around 20.

The skill rating is weird. Apparently Seagull is only level 70 (and he's considered one of the top 2 or 3 pro players in the scene right now). Another well known pro was level 65 or something. This is from their Twitch streams.

We won some games last night thanks to Sudden Death, but lost a Sudden Death because the server apparently didn't register us as being on the point at the end.

I distinctly remember being a metre inside the point as Reinhardt in that game.

Some good competitive play from some British players. They have some good ideas about having 1 person calling out placements and pushes for the group.

I think it's important to have a clearly defined in game leader to call strats and has the ability to read the enemy well. It's why so many so many European CSGO teams do so well.
