I haven't bothered to play the Brawl for this past week. I had constant games of 2x Tracers and 2x Genji's; talk about a nightmare.

Genji is still very mobile with his nerfs in the PTR. Personally, I think they need to give him back his triple jump, and keep the nerf to him running through traps like Junkrat's and Widow's. I want to see his Quick Strike or whatever it is called nerfed with something along the lines of making its CD 5 seconds and take away the reset of the ability on a player kill.

Oh and Ana's ult charge time is too fast. I had a couple PTR comp matches where she gained her ultimate in the first 15 seconds of the fight and then later had her ultimate twice in a 60 second span. Now I know characters like Reinhardt can charge an ultimate quick by hitting people constantly, but her ult is too much of a game changer. Hitting Reinhardt with it morphs him into a Reaper on crack with 1000 health and Tracer's speed. How is a team supposed to counter that?

So after playing countless hours on PTR Comp i think i have my pics for seaon 2 live comp and what ill be playing.

I like to play a more unorthodox style or a hybrid support. Season 1 i mained Junkrat and Zenyatta. Starting the season almost exclusively as junkrat main to finishing the season as almost exclusively zenyatta only player.

After playing with the changes for season 2 on PTR i will most definitely be playing a ton of Mei now. She feels extremely buffed and I am destroying PTR with her. I will still be playing Junkrat as hes still my favorite champ. And for support i will still play Zenyatta but won't be afriad to use Luccio as I learned to play with him far better than i was in seaosn 1.

Had a great match with Zenyatta once more. Got 5 gold stars. No idea why I couldnt get the 6th one with deaths.

So Comp S2 on the PTR: 1 win is equal to 3 or 4 losses. I got placed at 2300, and then lost 3 straight matches to land at 2000. One win netted me about 50 points. It's going to be a long slow slog up to the next tier.

It heavily depends on WHEN you actually got that win because the amount you lose and gain are not static values. In season 1, it was if you won 3 games in a row, every consecutive win after that was an automatic Comp level up. Same goes for if you lost 3 in a row and kept losing, every loss after 3 was an automatic de-level. It heavily relies on win/loss streaks(or did atleast in S1)... A win directly after multiple losses "should" net the lowest amount, then more if you win the next game, then more if you win the 3rd. I havent actually had a chance to win or lose 4+ games in PTR Comp yet to test this (a lot because of the WoW expansion release) so I could be way wrong for S2 Comp.

Also i do know that once you make it into a certain rank tier, you cannot drop from that tier. Similar to Season 1 where it kept your "Highest Season Rank". Season 2 will essentially keep you in whatever the lowest rank of whatever tier you are in regardless if you lose everygame or not.

Season 2: Bronze: 1-1499 = Season 1: 0-29 Skillrating
Season 2: Silver: 1500-1999 = Season 1: 30-39 Skillrating
Season 2: Gold: 2000-2499 = Season 1: 40-49 Skillrating
Season 2: Platinum: 2500-2999 = Season 1: 50-59 Skillrating
Season 2: Diamond: 3000-3499 = Season 1: 60-69 Skillrating
Season 2: Master: 3500-3999 = Season 1: 70-79 Skillrating
Season 2: Grandmaster: 4000-5000 = Season 1: 80-100 Skillrating

I would of been low ranked Master.

Is it really fair to an individual to lose massive amount of points if in the match itself they performed the best (like objective time and objective kills demonstrating they were helping out on the objective and not off doing Team Deathmatch)? You can't predict the teams you're going to get in Comp matches if you're solo queuing. I feel like those losing streaks should be softened if you're solo queuing and in the top 2/3 of your team at the end of a loss.

Based on my experience so far in PTR Comp, what you described is how it will be in S2 unless the Blizzard OW team makes some swift changes before release.

It needs to be based on individual performance.
