I may very well be going AMD CPU in the new build. If this is all true in the end, it looks like a very good option to replace my x79/4930k.

Not that I trust Fudzilla for anything, but this was up.

Zen Ready for Demo
Quote:
Multiple independent sources have confirmed that AMD has Zen x86 prototype chips ready for demonstration, and we might see them tomorrow during the Computex 2016 press conference in Taiwan.

That would be awesome as well as the Polaris stuff.

It's like everybody is a marketing expert although nobody gives that impression, is quite strange really.

You forget that it really doesn't take a marketing expert to recognize AMD's as being exceptionally poor.

Exceptionally poor how? I want technical detail.

For starters I'd mention JF_AMD, AMD_Roy, and Richard Huddy, the latter being their "Cheif Gaming Scientist"® (the most laughable title ever).

JF_AMD, in the very least, no longer works for AMD. He made claims that were outright false, even when confronted by numerous people challenging him (myself included).

These days, though, AMD doesn't really have any marketing people. Just a whole bunch of engineers.

they have a marketing team, albeit not likely much of one.

They need the new products to be ready on time, they need to make the proper push.. and think twice about over doing the gamer bling.

If they can manage the above there are marketing campaign that would appear very obvious. Say away from anything that invokes budget product, and rather embrace what their products this round if they hit the mark for what they are.

So exceptionally poor = there are a few people at AMD I don't like.
Since when Roy and Huddy = Marketing.

You are just demonstrated that you don't really understand marketing at all.

I just saw this early this morning as well. The headline title is ambiguous however, so its probably too early to jump to conclusions that this will be where AMD releases / launches Zen .... but I would like to be optimistic redface.gif
