ok maybe want to go 4k? sli?

Windows 10 X64

I want to sell my 27" monitor I just bought and buy this:

Probably will want SLI @ 4K to get a decent experience.
Just buy the monitor, see how it goes with one card, and if the games you play need more, buy another. Simple.

For 4k your best option would be to sell your 980 add money and get the upcoming GTX 1080.

You do need 980 SLI to get decent frame rates.

I did run into a couple games where the 980's 4 GB of ram became an issue though. Dying Light with textures at highest and no AA kept bumping me into the 4 GB ceiling.

two 980's? just get one 1070 then...
plus you get VR projection.

hdmi 2.0TV and video card but would I need an hdmi 2.0 cable? and can that do the full color or do I need display port?

my video card is the evga gtx 980-(04G-P4-2981-KR)
