That is a EVGA FTW2 11Gbps VBios

https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/191353/191353

You are aware that the GTX1080 Strix 11 Gpbs in fact got different VRAM ... it has the Ti Microns.

I have just sold my Palit Jetstream which does 2215/5594 with just 1.1V via AB Curve with StrixXOC_t4 Bios.

Benchmark result:

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/19179203

I have another Palit/GW Design based ... a Phoenix which does 2228/5584 with 1.125V.

Hey guys.
I'm currently looking to upgrade my second PC (i7 3770k at 4.6, 16Go of RAM and two GTX 680 in SLI).
I could get a Gainward Phoenix 1080 for 485€ (not the GS or GLH). Should I go for it or wait some times for Vega / lower prices ? I'm not sure to be that patient tongue.gif

Thanks smile.gif

Just get it .... the price is fine ... my PHOENIX is the lowest bin also ... still its the best overclocker of over a dozen GTX1080 i have tested so far.

It has a Dual Bios ... so you can flash the GLH Bios to Bios 2 and still have the original Bios on Bios 1 for warranty purposes.wink.gif

Why would that BIOS, with a power max of 250W, be better than the 86.04.17.00.83 Gaming X BIOS with a 295W limit?

My MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X runs a Gaming Z BIOS which also has a 295W power limit and it is still power-limited. I can't imagine that particular BIOS would be an upgrade, even with adjusted memory timings.

What's the allure?

Just curious to see if the memory clocks any better with this bios and if it is possible

Hi guys.

Recently i bought new PC. 7700k+1080gtx Asus Strix Advanced + Monitor:: Acer XB271Hu.

Sometimes im getting this artifact in middle of screen after Motherboard-Bios Logo and then nothing happens, just black screen and "No signal".Only rebooting PC or Monitor helps.

Problem in:

1) Monitor
2) DP Cable
3) GPU

I bought all this PC components recently so i need to found out asap what is the source of the problem. So i can RMA it without problem (14 day since buy).

I googled it and thats quite common problem: someone says its problem in Windows 10 - Fast Boot, others say its Integrated GPU fault, someone says its Monitor/Cable. Too many opinions.

I already resend Monitor back to Amazon, because it has dead pixels and box was already opened before me, so tomorrow im gonna try with new monitor. But what if Problem is in GPU? Should i hurry with RMA GPU?

Have anyone here the same problem and how did you fix it?

Got the Gainward Phoenix for a really good price. Flashed the GLH bios. In game it never went beyond 65°C oc'ed at 2126Mhz. I could push it more but I'm satisfied. Very happy smile.gif
