I recommend to maximise the value you use it as a gpu rather then a expensive coffee / tea coster tongue.gif

On a serious note just set up a custom fan profile to eliminate throttling with the fe card. It runs reasonably quiet for a refrence cooler so can be ramped up to reasonable levels without becoming annoying.

what are people getting on their watercooled oc?

I am getting 2,088mhz on the FE 1080, stock volts and reference blower, and have two aio and g10s sitting around from my sold 290 crossfire setup; wondering if I should water cool this.

Life cycle: 690-->Titan x3 --> Titan X x3 --> 980ti x1 ---> 1080 founders

Thoughts on things I should do with this to maximize my system

?

Putting it in the system first should help a lot. thumb.gif

Playing around with the voltage/frequency curve:

Gigabyte 1080 FE + EK Block/Backplate, CPU+GPU loop with 1x PE240 and 1x PE120
