Also, still in stock on Newegg for $640 if you want one! LINK
Let us all know how that card clocks, looks nice. I had a 980ti amp extreme that was a good card.

I was just looking at the 1080 Amp Extreme specs and there website says 10.8ghz for default memory clock. I wonder if they are binning mem chips or something.

Almost every card I've seen in reviews is hitting ~11ghz effective on the memory, I'd say Zotac is just pushing the clocks as far as they can to get better stock performance.

and between ACX 3.0 vs Gaming X its an absolute no brainer

Yeah the 2 most recent YouTube reviews of the FTW card shows some pretty bad overclocking results considering the tag of the card.
I've already cancelled my FTW order and replaced it with the MSI card (which should be in stock 1 week earlier).
Thanks for the help thumb.gif

Well, I lost the silicon lottery.

I can barely hit 1900 with my EVGA SC 1080.

Rough life.

That sucks!
But turns out more and more EVGA cards are struggling to overclock well. SC and FTW hmmm thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Max I'm hovering between 2075~2100 on the core with my SC, and other AIB cards have been all over the place as well.

We need the ability to mod bios before we can really put any board differences to rest, or truly find out if it's just how pascal is going to be.

These two cards were only able to overclock with an extra 60 and 75 MZz respectively - on top of the 1860 MHz boost clock that the FTW has as standard. That's 1920 / 1935 MHz respectively. Pretty bad for FTW cards if you ask me YouTube vids (Click to show)

CPU is in loop, 2600k @ 4.8ghz. Using Swifttech MCP D5 variant running at 2400rpm, about 46% max speed. Could be other factors at play: what's your ambient temp? Good airflow in case etc? Do you know what the temp of your water is? My loop is usually around 30c during a gaming session, so right in the 10 degree delta range.
