I played around with overclocking on my Zotac 1080 Founders while running Furmark and the clock raised to 2126 at points.

How is this generally considered among all 1080s? Do I have a good/bad/average chip or what?

Thanks

I placed an order for the 2nd GTX1080 to go SLI, and hopefully it can pull 60+ FPS on 2D and at least 30 FPS on 3D Surround Mode.

that shouldn't even be touched as a benchmark for videocards until it releases in 10-20 years

I saw that a LN2 run hit 2.5Ghz. I doubt we will ever see water or air cooled hit this. It seems Nvidia may have done something to cause high voltage to reset drivers.

However it is uncertain if NVIDIA approved this card design and its unlocked BIOS, so we don’t know if retail cards will be able to achieve similar frequencies.

so i have been playing with this card for awhile and im getting the same result on 1.000mV vs 1.093mV... Now that i manage to cap and feed a constant voltage to the card non stop doesnt matter whats the load all way up to 1.093mV see no use of voltage. That nets me 2088 complete stable.

Probably as im playing with the curve on afterburner and i manage to have the card @ 1.000mV the entire ordeal or any voltage i desire even 1.093mV CONSTANT non stop.
She will follow it religiously unless she goes into power limit borders..

I was playing around with my Zotac GTX 1080 FE under water with an EK block. I was able to raise the core to 1973 (1607 +366) which showed an exact boost to 2100. I didn't even change the power target, I suspect my temps are so low due to the water cooling that it is stable. Ran Firestrike AND Heaven without problems.

What was your max oc prior to watercooling?
