my GPU on Open side panel with running Heaven Benchmark.. it still hits above 75-79c... its still high to a GTX 1080 AMP! Edition AIB card... is my card got an issue or faulty? or it could just be normal on a Zotac card?

but il try to change my fans and get a new one to change the stock fans.. i don't want to intake the top fan cause it will get all the dirt/dust.. front panel will do the job with a filter on front. il change the H80i 120mm fans as well.. il try to find a better fans that will fit my color theme

It is ~ 20% faster, than my old Crap TX ... I am happy right now biggrin.gif

This was the highest ... http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8768338 but it was not stable... because of the temp...

But, back to my question, the last picture i posted, you did expect this Result and GPUz readout?

You try changing paste.. factory paste is usually garbage.

Do not get me wrong Steponz, but i am pretty sure, all 3 were shunted, I had ~1.7-8 of the normal PT, the Ram did not care biggrin.gif

+600-700 Perf drop, then a very slow rise, but artifacts...

The Core can not do more... bench yes... stable no.

Could do maybe more... but only with more voltage... and if i use the Curve you see what happens biggrin.gif

I have a 1080 amp coming in the mail tomorrow so I'll find out. Hopefully that is just the thermal paste and not the way the cooler performs, or I'll be a little bit disappointed. I'v seen other GPUs of mine benefit 5°C or better from new paste, so post some results when you get done.

This was my 1st try... worked, but it was not enough... then i added more to all 3 of them, worked well 110% PT without 55% after(Valley)... yesterday i thought, i could only try one... removed it from the middle and the bottom and added more to the top...

Only RS3 is modded... right now.

Still works biggrin.gif

are you on water? or just air? I think im going to do it now then thumb.gif you did not notice any increase in overclock did you? basically card just not hitting the power limit? I think this needs to be done to the 1070 more than 1080 imo when I had the 1070 it was hittin the 112% PT soooo easy lol I think its because old GDDR5 takes more power

the mod is mainly for the FE model but people have tried on custom also @snake
