I got a 360 and a 240 rad with GT's. 360 is exhaust, 240 is intake. Temps are around 49-50 degrees about after about an hour and a half of valley. Never really seen it go above 50 in a game.

OC'd to 2050. Could probably push that farther.

Anyway my question is if other watercoolers are getting similar temps. My mATX case doesn't make it easy to get great airflow and it's currently negative pressure. Plus my Typhoons are running around 1000 RPM. So I'm fairly certain everything's cool. Just curious though for other watercooled results in general.

50c is solid temps for sure. I am sure with a larger case and more room they may go down some but you are fine. Those RADS should absorb all these GPU have to throw at it no problem. thumb.gif

Damn true, just finished testing the difference between 1080p, 1440p and 4k while checking for the same temps, at 4k my GPU is at 100%-99% load instead of 99-97% and it's throttling harder.

At least now I know that this is normal behavior with this card, my last 970 SLI was running a rock solid OC without any kind of drop at any resolution as long as my temps were good, I don't think I even reached a tdp limit with those cards, Vram limit sure... but anyway I will have to learn to live with this kind of new GPU Boost, it was kind of weird at first since I've never experienced this kind of behavior with older cards.

What are temps while gaming? I would flip those other fans around. Set all the rads as intake. Doesn't that case have a single exhaust fan?

I'm running a similar setup with two 240mm rads and ap15 fans. Gpu @ 2150, 6700k @ 4.7, gpu temp never breaks 45. My fans will go up to 1850 though. Only using a single 120mm 2000rpm exhaust fan.

The games all ran, they didn't crash, but performance was definitely hindered by the game.

This. Regardless of how well it runs for you, an Alpha game is a poor representation of a benchmark unless you're benchmarking performance of the game's own release versions. The engine is probably stable, but it doesn't mean that every component of it is in that particular game.

Personally I would never buy cards solely because of their bench scores? I get that it gives us a rough performance idea compared to older gen cards but ultimately benching serves no other purpose. Min/Max frame rates are all that I am concerned about.

I plan to eventually grab the 1440P version of the Z35 when it is released by which time hopefully the 1080Ti will also be out.

I've been calling every computer company in Toronto for the last two weeks and they have zero stock as they are all still filling pre-orders.

Plus I just sold my 980Ti and would be without a video card redface.gif

Knew there was a reason I liked ya tongue.gif. I'm the same way about card purchases. I could care less about the bench scores.

And I just got a 4K panel, so I'm somewhat looking forward to potential SLI....if I don't decide to go mini ITX with my own build.

It really depends on the game. GTA 5 at 4k hit 49.

Thing is I'm using hard tubing and it gets in the way of the rear fan. One of the rads has to be flipped. I'm thinking about maybe adding a 120 at the bottom of the case as intake. Just to even out air in/air out. Never had anything with negative air pressure before.

I know my temps aren't bad at all but if this case was like an inch longer I could put in an exhaust and I think it'd be a pretty big decrease. Just a shame. I'm bigger on the silence thing then I am on the temp thing.

Sitting here bored as all hell waiting for my EVGA FE to show up. The customer service people at UPS assured me it would arrive yesterday, and of course it didn't. Assuming it will show up today then. Emptied the loop yesterday in preparation, and the waterblock from EK showed up (one day earlier with DHL than UPS despite ordering it one day later and the block not being in stock when i ordered). Excited to finally get my hands on it now.
