This morning reinstalled my Titan X BIOS modded and everything got smooth again. The gains on benchmarks were minimal so I´ll return this card. I just couldn´t find out why these stutters. I´m on a 4790k @ 4.6GHz, 16Ghz RAM on a Sabertooth Z97 and Win 7 64. I´m puzzled.

Windows 7.

Seriously. Why don't you have W10 on that system? You literally can't give an answer that is right so just put W10 on it.

Guarantee your frame times will be much better. W7 is a joke now. I have NO IDEA why people still use it on newer systems.

Benchmarks are always the same so there aren't many variables for the PC to deal with. Gaming is completely different.

Also those games may not play well with Windows 7 now. Could be just the games. Benchmarks usually work in older OS's, however usually with less performance.

Considering its free, do it. Now. You only have like 1 day before MS stops free upgrades.

At the very least upgrade so you can get your key and downgrade back to 7 if you wish. Then you will have a hardware ID linked to that PC and can put W10 on it anytime for free in the future.

These cards were literally MADE for W10. Compatibility with older os's is just that.......compatibility. Absolutely means you won't get the best performance out of it, it will work though.

Glad to hear your card is fine.

Guess so, but last night I barely slept, quite tired today. Anyways, thanks for the info/tip. I´ll wait when the 1080ti comes out and will update my whole rig and... WINDOWS 10!!!mad.gif

EVGA added a non-oc FTW

EDIT: Apparently, these DTs are the FTWs that didn't quite pass testing. So, for people who want RGB lighting, dual BIOS, lower price, bigger fans, etc.

I was getting some stutters in Crysis 3, was watching msi afterburner and the card was changing clock speeds (throttling) quite a bit. After I put it under water it stopped moving, just stays put at 2050, overwatch was butter smooth, will try Crysis 3 again tonight and report back.
