[Official] NVIDIA GTX 1080 Owner's Club - Page 196

One has to also remember, that the drivers for this card have not matured yet. We have only a couple of driver sets + a hotfix at present, so let's just see what future versions bring, if anything.
I posted it on nvidia customer service.

Does anyone here play with 3D TV and Tridef ? can you please tell me if COD Special Ops III works for you ? Windows 10 x64 + 368.51 + GTX1080 + Tridef 7.0 3DTV worked fine. Also GTA V crashes in instat as soon as I start new game and I go to the hostages, ALWAYS the SAME PLACE and SPOT. I can't figure it out !

Game issue - Call of Duty Special Ops III newest updated or fresh installed without the newest updates.

Someone else having the same issue with 970 correctly in the Tridef forums, he could only manage to work in 3D using 3Dvision in 720P and using the game inside renderer to upscale it to higher resolution.
Here is a link to the forum https://www.tridef.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6607

Using GTX1080 or 970 I had before, with Tridef 7.0 the newest version, and any profile that supposed to work before doesn't work with the latest driver.

The game works fine in 2D mode, but as soon as I launch it from Tridef menu the game goes black screen as soon after the logo when you need to press Enter to Continue.

What comes after is Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered. and the clock stuck on 753 Mhz or so till doing restart or some driver reset which can be done using CRU 1.2.6 which restore the clock and driver condition like it's been system restart.

I get all this errors in the event viewer as soon as the Press Enter to Continue shown and the game is actually need to start rendering

It was working in older drivers, I'm not really sure which, because I waited for the GTX1080 to arrive and the 368.39 is the newest driver correctly which installed and I didn't run the game with the 970 to see before. I just don't want to check all kind of drivers, but I'm sure one of the older drivers work.

EDIT: Apparently, these DTs are the FTWs that didn't quite pass testing. So, for people who want RGB lighting, dual BIOS, lower price, bigger fans, etc.

So this pretty much confirms that when you buy a higher end model that you are getting a higher binned card. The lower end models have the potential to each higher clock speeds but not to the stability required for customer release.

Yea I agree with you, I have a MSI Gaming GTX 1080, the non-x version (newegg exclusive), and I can't hit the core at 2000 stable. Has to be around 1960/1970, otherwise I get driver crash. You guys think that with custom bios I will be able to overclock more?

Guys how are you?

I`m having an issue here with my 1080 SLI

Sometimes, almost always when i launch a game one of the cards do not enter in 3d mode i think, the voltage stay in idle mode and the boost do not happen, i have to alt tab and change some value at Afeterburner to see the card voltage change enad the boost happen

This both images are while in gaming, you can see that one card boost the other one not, sli is active, voltage do not increase as well

What can cause this? Anyone with the same issue with 1080 SLi?

Thanks

Those of you having issues with your card running at high clock speeds on the desktop when running high refresh rate:

Try using DDU and reinstalling the latest driver. I am on 368.51 on a 165Hz 1440P display and my Titan X downclocks to 135Mhz.

Screen flickering/artifacts when logging in and the next 5 seconds? I get that, but then it stops and is never an issue until reboot.

Yes, and everytime an app would be opened up or mouse movement. The issue is all gone since installing 368.51
