Will we ever see custom bios for gtx 1080 release to public ? I ask this question because i want to know what card should i buy for my WC SLI setup.

Got my 1080 cards!! Wow these things run a lot cooler compared to my 980ti cards!

Haven't messed much with overclocking yet, but so far this seems stable:
~2050 to 2063Mhz Core (Seems to flip between these 2 clock speeds)
5508Mhz Memory

Need to test memory at a slightly lower speed, seen a few people mention GDDR5X seems to hit performance wall at some point then performance actually starts dropping before you start seeing artifacts.
Also need to see if the core can go higher, seemed the voltage slider in MSI Afterburner didn't do anything. One card hit 1.04v and other was sitting at 1.06v for those clockspeeds. 0% or 100% the voltage didn't change at all.

Only ran through regular 3DMark Firestrike so far (27,880 Points)

Any tips for OCing? Went from +25 to +130mhz on the core and the card boost to 2100 then throttles down between 2075-2050mhz thoughout benching. Temps are between 65-69c. Is there a way to prevent throttle?

Asus ROG Swift PG278Q here

Just did some GTA5 everything at Ultra/V.High @ 1440p with 4x TXAA.

First tried a 100fps limit in Afterburner and was a solid 100fps with no dips at all!! Tried 120fps cap but some places was getting dips below 120fps.

Turned off the fps cap for a bit and it bounced between 100fps up to 144fps in some spots with G-Sync turned on.

Not until a Pascal BIOS Tweaker app is programmed... yah my card hits the 120% power limit and starts to downclock slightly. Granted dropping 30-50Mhz is what 0.2 - 0.3fps difference. I'm not even worried about it.

I used 2 ribbon bridges... works fine here.
But I'll probably grab a HB SLI bridge when I can find one.

agree i did the same thing and microsoft has never installed anything, just the updates for windows.

I've just been poking around with mine since it's in a backup system currently.
Peak is 2062-2050 stepping down to and holding 2025. Fan profile is on auto - aggressive.
I'd have to say I'm pretty happy with it, breaking 2GHz without it getting hot is all I wanted.

+75 is where I start to lose stability, once I get it into my other system (parts on order) I'll have to tinker with it some more.
