So even under water it sounds like most people are not getting over 2.1ghz. I guess that is good given the stated base clock of the FE card. It looks like my Titan is kicking the bucket so I will have to get a 1080. I wonder if the EVGA classified will bring anything more to the table

2200 most likely will be Top gaming OC with bios Mod which is roughly 35% over Stock which is the same general number 9Series gets.

It won't bring anything. At most it might be on par with what the FE's are pulling with better cooling but looks like the gpu's are binned and nvidia is keeping most of them for there own cards. I would like to see if the classified brings more volts then the 1.093 if so then should help out. But I think the Fe's are binned. Everything I seen they are pulling higher clocks in general and volt for volt every one that I seen is clocking better. I had a strix here I sold to a friend and the fe was faster.

Bring me to this. I was about to get a ek block. But its a total waste. I have a evga hybrid cooler I played $60 for load temps over clocked and looping 3d mark don't hit over 50c. The ek should preform better but not $90 better. Well see. After we get more volts I might go with an ek block but right now looks like goickibg cheap on a fe is the way to go.

I ran my strix for a while. Tested pretty much every bios and the card was 100mhz slower then the fe. Might not seem like much but pretty crappy when you considered the improvement in the card and power circuits over reference. I ended up selling it to my buddy at cost. Nice card just a downgrade from the fe I have. And I water cool he only runs air so its a better choice for him and on air its faster then the fe that runs pretty warm when ovsrclocked.

Has anyone pulled apart a FTW 1080 yet? If so how was the TIM job and do you think it will be worth replacing or is heat not the limiting factor just the power%.

Would really like a Bios Editor to be able to raise voltage and power limit.
