You sir seem to know stuff.
Its really hot in here now...30C ambient lol
If i do 100% fan, max power and temp target, max volts im getting max boost 2150 and then sitting at 2105. Card temp goes to 71C.

Not sure if this is a good card?
Im going to custom watercool it.

If you're hitting 2150 stable at any point then you got a good card. I can't push much past 2114 stable and I am waterblocked. As is the 2100 MHz mark is generally speaking considered to be above average already. The outstanding cards are hitting 2200MHz but there really aren't many doing that.

You got a good card. To me its pointless putting on a ek block for $125. The temps are pretty close to what you get with a $60 aio gtx 980ti hybrid. Im riding that until a better bios comes out. But i load at 48c in games 50c max.

LOL, wrong person to tell to avoid waterblocks. I don't think they have ever not put a waterblock on their video cards.

While I even somewhat regret putting a waterblock on my card at least in the end I have a silent rig running my radiator fans at barely a shade over 1000 RPM and my 1080 doesn't even go past 41C at load.

Yeah to me the 8c drop is not worth the extra $65. I'll slap a ek on mine soon as the modded bios roll out until then i'll ride this aio on it.

update new wow patch is not hitting my 1080 hard at all. Inm citys and what not i can hold 2177 but in bg's im dropping to 1,300 lol. 20% load . Playing wow in a bg at 36c lol. time for k boost

I think for return on investment, you can't beat a $70 AIO kit that fits the 1080 FE. I'm running a NZXT G10 with Corsair H105 and I flatline at about 48C overclocked, underload.

If i didn't have this already, I would have bought the AIO from amazon. thumb.gif

Hmm. Great news for me then. Putting an H110i on my FE tonight.

48c sounds great. Heh. Any extra heatsinks installed on RAM or VRM?

Put my 1080 and 50% power limit and 60C temp limit. Playing Black Desert at 45 FPS maxed out with a severely underclocked card while I work. haha

smile.gif Well I'm watercoolign already so not plugging this card into the loop would be a sin biggrin.gif

Pretty much what @xer0h0ur said biggrin.gif

This card is also hitting power limit HARRD. 130% +

I'm also thinking of doing hard volt mod. I'm not sure, if even with bios tool we will be able to push as much as we need, for watercooling smile.gif

See 1060 vmodded to 2200MHz easy, ON AIR !

He is using this so you will need to get that or the black version. It supports the 1080 FE
https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-g10-white

Edit: Not sure on the difference but it only supports the H110 and not the H110i according to the compatibility list.
