I did that on my mothers 980TI (She's folding) and the temps dropped by a good 5¤C at least.

Went for that 1080 FE from eVGA (Demo modell). Will buy myself a block later on. smile.gif

2nd GPU is running hotter always like 10c hotter than GPU1 , i'm guessing the space between the cards is the reason

I used Gelid Extreme. I like that one the best. But personal preference etc after all.

Maybe just a bad flash on my part but be careful guys when you flash a non reference gpu bios.
Obviously.

I think you're all a bit naive for flashing BIOSES. None of you have any idea what you're actually doing to the card.

Learn how to solder and watercool. Not flash BIOSES from completely different cards from different PCB's for god sakes.

This is not the first time I've said this.

I'm betting that 1080 wasn't flashed to a different BIOS from stock.

Everyone says performance is lessened with BIOS flashes.

So again.... flashing different 1080 BIOSES is not the best idea.

everyone?

i know a few 1080 owners that are passing around bios like a $2 hooker at a biker rally - some work better some don't; so please don't speak for everyone.

E; damned typos. mad.gif
