Can you report your OC results with BIOS switched to "Slave Mode" on FTW card? smile.gif

Anyone have experience with the Zotac AMP Extreme card? Is it worth getting over the other designs?

Jaystwocents did a review on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RO64zln8kNg

Basically great cooler overclocks like crap compared to FE's. But unless your going water on it i would go with a Zotac. My first pick is a Galaxy HOF then Zotac Amp extreme

Nah, not really. They are all pretty much a few % from each other. Choose the best looking and less bulky card.

So random question and a long shot. Anyone here that did SLI with 2 Xtreme Gaming 1080s? Assuming you got the premium pack that I think they all came with, I'm wondering if anyone that has, would want to sell one of those SLI bridges smile.gif.

Would have kept it if the big daddy came out early next spring.
What store did you buy it from where you can return it after using it, out of curiosity?

I ordered my 1080 on the same day the TX was announced and couldn't cancel it. I was originally going to refuse the shipment, get a refund and get the TX, but decided in the end that I'm just going to keep the 1080, which is fine on 1440p. I'm just going to wait for Volta to jump on the 4K bandwagon. Hopefully by then there'll be some moderately priced 4K HDR monitors.

Memoryexpress.

Was a problem for a few minutes, but they decided it was fine for return. They will change their policy for returning used water cooled cards in the future they said.

Installed an XSPC waterblock on an NVIDIA GTX 1080 FE today. Temps stay below 42 under full load on a fairly restrained custom loop (1 x 240mm EK and 1 x 140mm XSPC rads). No complaints about the block - easy install and good instructions. I got the backplate but for anyone who doesn't care about looks, the backplate may not be a great deal. One note for anyone considering buying an NVIDIA built FE from Best Buy or direct - there is no warranty sticker on the screws / cooler.

Best I can get so far is 2100 / 11000. Getting G11583 in Firestrike Extreme but hitting power limit pretty frequently. Waiting for BIOS tweaker to push it harder.

Yep. Volta = 4K. Couldn't of said it better myself. Smart choice.
