So got my ASUS GTX 1080 Strix yesterday and I got lucky on silicon lottery. Can hit 2100Mhz GPU stable.

23,042 Firestrike Graphics Score, not bad:

EDIT:

Made a mistake when installing the card, fan noise fixed, card is fine, I edited the post to reflect that.

Thanks for ya help!

I need a WB ASAP.

65¤C at 100% fan speed. frown.gif

It will downclock to 2088 after some time due temp. So instead I was testing mem.

500+, 550+, 600+, 650+, 700+.. by now I was thinking *woah* tongue.gif. Tested another run in Valley at 750+ and stopped, will test 800+ tomorrow.
No sign of artifact etc yet.

Is it dangerous to play with such a high mem speed? I don't want to ruin something. tongue.gif

I also could push my ram really high but after +525 I start seeing less fps due to the memory ECC kicking in. You need to test and make sure you are not losing frames or getting lower benchmark scores on anything over +500. Yes I know you think its stable since you don't see any artifact nor driver cashing but trust me ECC is kicking in and you are for sure getting lower FPS and benchmarks scores.

I've been thinking it could be that as well.

But as far as I remember, I didn't get a lower score. But I will double check tomorrow!

so HOF cards can run on 1.3 voltage

but you have to use XtremeTuner+ for that

Is the Seahawk with the EK block a good gpu? I see that my local MC has one left in stock. it's between this one and the Classified. I decided to only get the new Titan X if nVIDIA let them be sold elsewhere also.I want at least 2100......

It's pretty good, look:

The stock bios is good, but I did better with the MSI FE bios from techpowerup data base.
