Not sure anyone would be interested... nvidia sure has crippled double precision FLOPS since the OG TX:

6950X with 1 GTX 1080FE or 2 TitanX SLI.

EDIT : Keep holding CTRL when raising curve

that worked and i got a steady 2202mhz on a 1.09v , it didn't last long before crashing in Heaven benchmark

Try Memory + 500 , not more than that.
Edit.: Having steady 1.93V does not seem to have a huge effect but does help with higher than 2100 Mhz , i run 2150 in firestrike , will try more later today but keep in mind on AIR at around 80 degrees biggrin.gif

Heh, i have no good reason to say it but i dont trust XTREME TUNER rolleyes.gif
I usually go by GPUZ and keep it up to date , also i tried GALAX OC Tool few times and it gave me a headache .
Generally try not to use more than one Soft. thumb.gif

Buying an WB block for my GPU. The FE cooler is not good enough.

1. Is a backplate necessary in order to have the card not sag? I absolutely hate sagging, I feel so bad for the card's PCB.

2. Which WB do you like the most?

Thinking of going with EK because I like them the best.

Cheers! cheers.gif

Hi Guys, I just want to yell all of you about my experience with memory overclocking the Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Edition card that I have. Warning! I have placed heatsinks on all of the RAM modules.
Link to heatsinks used:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00637X42A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
They were secured with a generic thermal tape.

I used an artificial benchmark (I chose it because it was short and it utilized almost all of the VRAM) It is the MSI Kombustor Lakes of Titan test.

This card is a "Hybrid card" I used an NZXT G10 Bracket and an NZXT Kraken x61 Cooler, The Memory/VRM fan is silent, so I left it at full speed.

Here are the OC results:
Core is always at 2190 MHz

Memory was stable up to +825 MHz

+0 Memory Clock | Score: 41902 | 698 FPS

+100 Memory Clock | Score: 41544| 692 FPS

+200 Memory Clock | Score: 42325 | 705 FPS

+500 Memory Clock | Score: 42679 | 711 FPS

+600 Memory Clock | Score: 42864 | 714 FPS

+650 Memory Clock | Score: 42450 | 707 FPS

+700 Memory Clock | Score: 43164 | 719 FPS

+750 Memory Clock | Score: 42566 | 709 FPS

+800 Memory Clock | Score: 43139 | 718 FPS

+825 Memory Clock | Score: 43463 | 724 FPS (Stable in CS:GO, GTA V and Garrys mod Vsync off)

+850 Memory Clock | Unstable

Not at all, you should be able to use any of the currently available waterblocks without needing the backplate. In reality on these Pascal cards so far, the backplate is purely there for aesthetics. The EK backplate wasn't available when I ordered my nickel plated block so I just reused the FE backplate on it for the sake of not having an exposed PCB.
