PPL

What you think ?

I'm using 2 GTX 1080 ZOTAC FE

OC two AT

MAX VOLT
MAS POWER LIMIT
+165 CORE
+500 VRAM
100% FAN

I'm getting

2050 Mhz, 2025 Mhz almost of the time because the temps goes up to 62 - 67 C

It's a good deal for FE version ?

Today i brought two EVGA HYBRID COOLER to mount on my two 1080

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZQ4PFX2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I saw other users using this cooler on GTX 1080, and it fits fine.

Maybe with WATER COOLER i can reach 2100 - 2150 mhz ?

Or its impossible on a FE 1080 ?

Thanks...

I have already seen one of my friends rage hard over his 4K Dell monitor's problems. I wouldn't touch a Dell monitor with a 10 foot pole. Especially not something new that Dell is first to market with.

Hoping for 2150 on my FE. If it can do 2100/2125 on air, maybe 25 extra will be possible.

Just make sure you're chasing performance instead of MHz because a few people have observed and reported that despite being able to push higher clocks with stability, their Firestrike scores went down.

or just get this which is confirmed USB 3.1 C to DP 1.2 and half the price

That will NOT work with the new Dell at 120 Hz 4K. The whole reason Dell went with Thunderbolt 3 is that there are no DP 1.3/1.4 TCon chips out there yet. That's why we've seen zero DP 1.3/1.4 monitors.

Is firestrike still a good tool to asset overclock stability? Getting a lot of driver crashes on it...
