Gotta have to play around with the memory tomorrow and see what i can get it up too. At +200 what mhz is your card running then ?

I picked up a "HyperX Predator SSD 240GB M.2 PCIe" so sitting installing Windows10 on my computer now again, wish i had time to do this before, i really wanna play around with the 1080 instead smile.gif

For those of you pushing memory, it would be interesting to see the performance impact of GDDR5X error correction. To reveal this, OC the memory until it artifacts then back down slowly until it doesn't anymore. Bench that memory and continue backing down until the scores increase again. Error correction costs around 10 - 15% on Maxwell -- appears as a mystery to people unaware of it.

Guys, where are you buying not reference card? biggrin.gif

Thought I would share my results from a comparison between my TX and 1080 so far in single card solution smile.gif

System stats were same throughout, so just my day to day clocks on the 5960x @ 4.6 Ghz, Cache @ 4.4 Ghz DDR 4 @ 2800 Mhz.

Titan X Settings
Stock Settings - 1316 Mhz core / 7012 Memory throughout tests
Overclock Setting - 1474 Mhz core / 8020 Memory throughout tests

1080
Stock Settings - 1848 Mhz core / 10012 Memory throughout tests
Overclock Setting - 2101 Mhz core / 11030 Memory throughout tests

Clocks can go higher on both, in fact 1080 can get a notch above 2200 Mhz, but 2100 Mhz for that is a nice figure and my second 1080 is somewhat terrible falling over at 1100 (so back it goes) and having that lovely annoying Fan spinning up and down bug. Titan X 1474 Mhz was daily gaming profile, could do higher for bench, but was a decent figure overall for the TX. Did also bench the memory at couple of different speeds and the above for the 1080 did not decrease the score.

All tests were at 3440 x 1440. Scores below are average fps with Min / Max in brackets, though for some tests the Max / Min are pretty crap representations as you can most likely tell.

Far Cry Primal
Titan X Stock - 53 fps (45/59)
Titan X OC'd - 60 fps (52/67)
1080 Stock - 61 fps (54/71)
1080 OC'd - 68 fps (59/78)

Arkham Knight
Titan X Stock - 63 fps (47/89)
Titan X OC'd - 68 fps (48/98)
1080 Stock - 80 fps (43/120)
1080 OC'd - 94 fps (75/136)

Checked this game 3 times as that's a pretty large and unexpected jump, but results are correct!

Tomb Raider
Titan X Stock - 88 fps (70/110)
Titan X OC'd - 99 fps (73/122)
1080 Stock - 97 fps (70/116)

Titan X OC'd - 93 fps (48/141)
1080 Stock - 95 fps (52/181)

My best score to date, 5704 in Firestrike Ultra. Not bad considering my score is let down by my 4970k lol

http://www.3dmark.com/fs/8665839

My card does not like the voltage slider at all it seems, so i'm currently at +182 +520 with +0 on voltage.

Same thing happened with my Titan x on stock bios, it was a slug but when i got my hands on a custom vbios it really shined. Hoping its the same for this card considering i seem to be stuck at 2088 core

I still don't understand fully how oc'ing works on these new cards, especially with the voltage slider and how the rule of +13 core is now gone

So I haven't been paying super close attention so far, what seems to be the general consensus on OC limiations, bios, TDP?

It's not an overclockers card. 1.25v hard limit even on ln2. You basically paid a premium for Boost 3.0 which took away all of the oc headroom. When P100 was revealed at nearly 1.5ghz I mentioned that this time around NVIDIA will improve Boost to do all the work. And they're charging a premium for it.

Have we seen anyone overvolt the card and OC yet? All I see is water cooled at stock voltage?
