Never mind. For some reason I had it in my head you were stressing with Furmark.
My 1080 is now under water.

I didn't even bother to leak test. Used the exact same tubing as before. Only difference is the fittings which I had to remove from the 980Ti on to my 1080.

Drained 50% of the water and filled it. Booted as always! :-D

Used the FE backplate as well. Looking forward to see temps!

I was, but I started reading this thread from the beginning and there was a lot of anti furmark, so I removed that part of my reply lol. I can mess with it and send ya whatever you're looking for.

I am using 3DMark now and have been settling at 2062 actual stable at +65 core and +546 memory with the fans at 100% and core and power maxed. I have hit 2113 and chilled there for a bit at lower temp, I believe if I had this thing on water I could hit 2113 no issue. Is there any way I could use a AIO cooler of some sort with this FTW card?

Has anyone flashed the 1080 Strix Oc bios over the regular, "non Oc" 1080 Strix version?

I feel the GPU is getting hot. 44-45¤C when OCed while running Valley. I don't like this. :/

Before I needed an offset of 233 to reach 2100. Now I only need 196 offset :-D

TDP while running Valley is 95-100%. Perhaps the stock cooler at 100% fan speed draw some power? tongue.gif

Which water block did you go with? Your temps don't seem terrible, but warmer than what I see on my card with an EK block. Could be ambient temp?

Went with the EK one. Might have a little to much thermal paste as I tend to overdo it on GPUs. Ambient is not hot at all. 25-26'C perhaps?

XTX360 (Push-pull) + XE240 (push) with Eloops running at 700RPM. D5 pump along with my Evo sup. CPU block for my 5960X OCed.

Goddamit it's actually hotter than my 980Ti was. 1-2¤C..

I don't want to remove the block and reapply as I don't have enough coolant. Wellwell. It's not that important. It's only a few degrees difference.

can someone tell me what is anti aliasing called in GTAV Online ? because i cannot find it in graphics or advanced graphics
post #4090 of 11202
@TWiST2k no need to go out of your way. I think I got a pretty good idea of where P1080 (Preset 1920x1080 furmark bench) sits with the GTX-1080 when running with normal TDP limit. Somewhere around 120fps. I removed power limiting on my FE card and managed 133fps with >300W draw. It was a software approach that had some issues with another clock but seems cross flashing strix VBIOS posted earlier (hwbot link) can do the same while also allowing for a little more voltage, up to 1.2V on this card, however I lose some fan speed from 4k to 3.6k. Still need to look into it a bit more when time permits.
