Looking for benchmarks, SC vs FTW, could not find anything on youtube, what's FTW performance advantage over SC (stock)? 5%, 10% ??

UPDATE
Found this, doesn't benchmark SC, but close enough for my needs:

So there it is folks, Cryostasis is still the best game for testing GPU overclocks 7 years later. The tech demo benchmark showed no signs of instability either, only playing the game did (and it crashed in under half an hour of playing).
I'm guessing it's my VRAM. Lowered it to +450 (10908 MHz).
If the clocks are stable in the games you use - they are stable. Time spy stable, may not predict stability in anything else but timespy. It does use the DX12 API more than most games will call on DX12.

lol - do you have a water temp probe? the delta between core and coolant is what you need to know regarding the block mount efficiency. thumb.gif

Just building it up so when i get my new Titan X i can pretty much get full price on this 1080 and get some money back.

I will add there is a way Nvidia can tell if you have used more then 1.25v on the card. I will not go into details on this as people can circumvent this and it looks like it is placed for warranty issues. Go over 1.25v there is no way to reverse it after it trips other then replacing a part and they will be able to tell. Unless you are doing a hardware volt mod you do not need to worry about this as you are not able to provide that voltage without one. And if you do a volt mod your warranty is gone anyways so it dont really matter.

^^ dont feed the troll boys XD

If the pros out there haven't manage to do nothing this guy here who only posts in this topic and nowhere else is going to be a great help XD

Let him reverse engineering XD

Need to get a temp probe. Probably a bad install as I've used too much thermal paste, but I thought it didn't matter as I could just squeeze it out the sides. tongue.gif

Running 2126 at 1.043V instead of 2100/2088 at 1.050V. Might do 2150.

Why did you sell your 1080?

I sorta know you, so I guess it's the new Titan XP you'll be getting? biggrin.gif

Temp is 40-41'C instead. Will test gaming later.

Can any GTX 1080 STRIX owners/enthusiasts confirm that this setup would work... ?

I want to send video to my UHD TV via one HDMI port and have HDMI two going out to my 7.1 receiver (which i can't pass through as it's not UHD compliant). I'd love to be able to do this without needing to go through a splitter or anything that made degrade the image or add lag.

It looks like the Strix cards are the only 1080's with two HDMI ports?

When I used normal paste on my ares III,, I didnt like the temps so I aplied liquid metal. Temps went down by 15C biggrin.gif

Yeah people keep asking and i said i did not make the bios. Im not uploading it without permission from the person who made it. They said no so its not being passed out. He made it not me its not mine to pass around.

So tell us who made it so we can get in touch with the person or ask him if you can make it public ....thumb.gif

Hey bud, I sold the 1080 in advance of the Pascal TitanX. 40% more cuda cores than the 1080 but lower base frequency. As we had for the OG Titan and Maxwell TitanX (TXM), Pascal TitanX (TXP) or the 1080 is going to need a bios editor for it to be as much fun.

Awesome! Just as I thought.

The Titan XP is going to cost 1800-2000 in Norway. A 1080 is alreadt 900USD.

Will be awesome to see results!
