That's just luck of the draw I guess. My armor gets pretty mediocre OC on air. (2050mhz stable with fan turbine mod) Bear in mind they all (Amor, GamingXZ) share the exact same PCB design.

Tried few of the GaminX bios , much worse overclockers even with higher power limit. Try FE bios. Also Ref. fan gets up to 4200RPM rolleyes.gif
and mine rarely gets to 100% mostly sits around 68 degrees in gaming.

Thank's for the hint. But I'm returning it tomorrow for a FTW, so no more fiddling with BIOS flashing with this one.

Hopefully I'll get a better sylicon with EVGA and better temps at load.

Also, MSI custom PCB is so wide that I couldn't even close my side panel with 2 fans.

Got TitanX coming saturday, will probably sell this 1080 after few tests.

TitanX is a beast, no question about that, but strangely TitanXP is not the KING of the Pascal family, its not on full fat PASCAL, maybe this time around there will be no full PASCAL die on Geforce series and no 1080Ti

That is what I'm thinking.

No way AMD can compete with TitanX, so Nvidia wont be needed to release a 1080Ti.

yes, with another released GPU on PASCAL Nvidia is basically competing with themselves, thats why they remove SLI finger on GTX 1060. GTX 1060 at 2ghz in SLI prolly would be faster than GTX 1080 in DX11 games

1080 TI is on its way with 3328 cores 320-bit 10GB GDDR5X
Titan X is 3584 and 384-bit 12GB GDDR5X
