The lack of power usage monitoring is also concerning as there seems to be no limit.

Edit: nvm it is allowing better OC. 2254 seems ok in a quick test but i can't do anything more thorough tonight
what card is that?

Also. Have you tried using curve in afterburner? It should affect voltage too. Ctrl F in ab

Also. Any guide you used for flashing? I only flashed amd cards before. I have FE now. Thx

I am attaching the nvflash I have been using and its working great. I would extract it and place the nvflash folder in your C:\ and then launch an admin command prompt.
Code:
cd c:\nvflash

nvlflash --protectoff

nvflash -6 whatever.rom

press y when prompted and reboot to apply the changes, you can also hit tab to complete filenames in dos if you are not aware of that.

Thanks for the tip on the ctrl-f I did not know that was there. I am unable to control the power limit or temp limit with the strix bios on my FTW in afterburner but as the temps go up the voltage goes up as well, which is interesting because with my FTW it is the opposite when my temps keep going up my voltage slowly drops along with my clockspeeds. I was seeing if there was anything in the afterburner config files to enable the k boost or sliders even with the strix bios, but did not make any progress on that.

I am going to reboot to my strix bios again in a min and do some more testing, was trying to see how hard I could push things in the slave FTW bios again just for a baseline.

Although power setting and percentage reading for both strix xoc and t4 are neutered you can use HWinfo to read gpu power draw in Watts.

I can confirm that new XOC bios will brick FE cards. Just flashed both, probably should've just done 1 to test it. Now got to buy a cheapy card so I can flash back. biggrin.gif

If anyone has an Asus FE bios I'd much appreciate it, thanks in advance!

Edit: NVM bios found on TPU

Edit 2: Switched to another port on GPU and bios works now.

Did you change the DP cable into another port on the gpu?

No problem.smile.gif

I had that same problem and went the long way to flash back until someone in this thread told me about the DP port thing.tongue.gif
