Check in the settings where you can pick the skin. It's on the rightmost tab labeled "User Interface".

In the picture you quoted he had both Afterburner and Asus's tool running side by side though.

I keep Mem at +100 @ 11k Mhz but it could go higher.

A great deal of lottery going on, in his review Jay could not get his Extreme past 2050 Mhz:

Wow, those are great numbers. No way I can get even close to 100 on memory. It crashes immediately at 50 regardless of temps. Same for GPU, even at 40 it isn't stable.
I think I finally numbers that allow 3h+ of gaming without a crash... +15 RAM/+35 GPU at stock voltage (didn't seem to make much of a difference).

Guess I wasn't all that lucky with this one, just like Jay. But it's still nice that it is always at 2 GHz or more.

Is it safe to use on FE over longer periods of time? (My card is under water) I know the FE only got a 5+1 if i remember correctly.

Perhaps I could push 2250-2300? Since I can do 2139 stock? :hmm:

cheers.gif

I am folding alot with my card, so it will probably live a rough life compared to many others.
Its the STRIX bios posted 2 pages back. 1 person says it didnt work with their FE, but it works with my EVGA FTW. Wouldnt really recommend overvolting with a custom bios for a heavy workload like that.

Doh.. thanks smile.gif

Am I also missing where the voltage-clockspeed curve is, or does only EVGA Precision have that?

When you flashed that bios to your FTW what does it allow the volts to go to now?

Yeah, with precision manual curve I can get to 1.163.

Card doesnt seem to like that voltage much though and I get more stability with 1.143 or 1.153

Max stable seems lower than I thought before, at about 2202mhz

In afterburner hit Ctrl + F to access the curve. There isn't a button at this point for it. Protip: When using the curve, hold down the Ctrl key to shift all points on the curve simultaneously.

i have one question to Founders Edition users, did u try to use your FE with Review Sample Bios ?

on techpowerup bios database, there is review sample bios : 86.04.11.00.0C

on retail FE bios is : 86.04.17.00.01 its newer

im curious if that review sample bios is better for overclocking

i know i can check myself, but im little bit afraid, i dont wanna brick my card smile.gif

In Norway we got a 5 years warranty, So I'll flash the bios anyways. I'm happy if it dies after the 1180 is out. biggrin.gif

Always use the bottom port on any GPU. Be it DVI, HDMI or DP.

Anything else is high level n00batry.

Which tool do I need in order to flash?

Can I still controll the voltage with the STRIX bios?

If so, one profile in MSI af. for folding, another one for gaming/benching smile.gif
