As promised I'm sharing the MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING Z BIOS. This BIOS has higher clocks and higher TDP limits (stock boost to 1911MHz, depending on your card will result in well over 2000MHz default effective core clock). The .rar file attached contains a batch file which you need to run in order to flash (also see included flash guide). Running the batch file you will be asked whether you want to flash the GAMING Z BIOS with OC mode or GAMING mode enabled by default.

*Flashing is at your own risk, I am in no way responsible for possible damage to your card(s). To avoid strange behaviour and/or lower scores, I suggest to use this BIOS only on MSI GAMING PCB based graphics cards for now (MSI GAMING Z, GAMING X, GAMING, ARMOR, Sea Hawk EK).

When I get home later, I will try it on my MSI GTX 1080 ARMOR 8G OC. Let me know how it works out for you thumb.gif

What are these EXE files? Did you write them yourself? what do they do? Do you have the source for them?

When we have the ability to just flash rom files, I do not understand the need to have some custom exe files that we do not know the origin of, no offence to you at all, sharing information is always appreciated, I just like to know the origin of random code I am running on my computer.

I did not look at the PDF and see it is straight from MSI, as I said before appreciate the upload, when I first looked at them I was like what the hell is this virus looking madness haha.

I wonder if someone is gonna flash gaming Z to FE card smile.gif

So far the stock nvidia bios is the best for me. Evga sc is not good. Strix oc t4 no good. High clokcs but low scores as 50mhz less. 2300mhz crash...
Max i got was 2252mhz and 1.15v.

Thanks. Been looking everywhere for this. Only found X and used it on regular gaming. Will try this after working.

Do you mind sharing where you found this bat file? When I used the X bat file, I had to reinstall drivers though but worked great. Regular gaming will now turn to Z.

Here, 2189MHz + 1.081v and 11114MHz mems.
This is giving me the same results as 2202MHz + 1.094v and 11114MHz mems so I rather have lower volts smile.gif

Tried the Strix-bios on my strix cards... gave me nothing. Perhaps I'll try the curve once I get both cards under water in a couple of weeks

So strix cards do have a dual bios switch? Dont recall seeing it. Are they both same bios from stock? Want to try the new bios on this card. Wish we had a graph or table comparing results from different cards and this bios.
