OC mode not stable for me. It spikes to 2012 then 2000 then driver crash. Gaming mode it stable so far. I do need to reinstall drivers after every bios flash. Well, I guess that's y it's just a regular gaming. Didn't make the cut on 2k mhz.

How are you guys getting over 1.1V? Do I need the new bios or does XOC not allow it and I need afterburner? I'm using XOC but at 100% it gets to around 1.09. I've started playing with the linear curve and seem to be getting better results with my 1080 FTW. BF4 would freeze on startup at +125 but with linear set to +50 low/+175 high I haven't had a problem yet. The power even finally broke 110%, even though it's set at 130% (via HW64).

The XOC bios is stable for me. Been folding for a couple of days at 2139 1.05V. 100 percent stable. biggrin.gif

Guess the XOC wouldn't be a smart choice to someone on air with room temps around 30ºC, would it? Guess I'm sticking with 1.093v until I can put my ftw on water.

How much vcore voltage do you have to use for hitting the 5.1?

He's a beast for buying a binned CPU?

Lol. Give praise when it's warranted..... seriously.

Takes ballz! I ran my 3570k at 5.1ghz@1.56v for a stint until I got some sense "several months" later and downclocked it to 5.0ghz @1.51v... the got some more sense "several months" later and started to run 4.5ghz at 1.28v and left it there until I gave it to my brother which now runs it at stock auto.. Mind you it never blue screened or had whea errors, the dropping of multipliers was more like... Welll..... What if this chip dies, then what... Anyways I never learn as I run my skylake 6700k at 1.488v and 4.9ghz smile.gif This is OC-MFn-N after all.. Come with the voltage or don't come at all! thumb.gif

Anyone have a EVGA GTX 1080 Classified bios they wouldn't mind posting so I could download it? I have looked all around the internet and no one put up one for download.

I can confirm that the new Gaming Z bios that was posted works on FE cards. That batch program is very fast, pressed 1 key and it flashed both of my cards at the same time as restarted.

Testing now!

Edit: Not good for FE cards, fans are limited to 2492RPM @100% and scores are worse at same speed versus stock FE bios. XOC V2 still the best bios.
