I'm loving it. I can play for long hours at least 6ºC cooler. Always under 60s, even with hoverclock, and clocks never dip below 2100mhz. Memory rock solid at 11016mhz. This card is just incredible. Can't wait to hook a H105 to it.

I would check my workmanship... What thermal paste did you use? DId you pick something partially conductive? If so, get it off of the capacitors around the die on the substrate. Those caps are important for power delivery to the core.

If that's not it, make sure you didn't over-tighten the heatsink around the core. Flexing the PCB can cause some components to fail.

Make sure you didn't affect the thermal tape on your VRAM chips.

Make sure the VRMs are still being cooled properly

Etc.

EVGA Hybrid Water Cooler Closed Loop

Temps going from 67 - 70 C to 42 - 50 C on 100 % load

But for my surprise, my overclock stability was gone frown.gif

Before i can run SLI stable at 2025 Mhz ( +165 core clock +500 on mem )

Now i can't run +100 on core and drivers fails

Any IDEIA W T F is happennnnnnnnning ??

Thanks ?

Your oc is not about +xxx MHZ,but about the FINAL MHZ your gpu runs at.
When you lower the temps then gpu boost 3 wil lboost higher = you need to add less +xxxmhz to achieve the same clocks as before.

I get a drop at 43C. How much it drops depends on the curve. wink.gif Multiple drops over a temperature range.

If I remember correctly someone already bricked his card flashing classy BIOS on it. Post back your results.

I have used a Philips screwdriver to remove the screws. What this can cause ?

But my other vga works great, and i can reach 2200 no problem at all

The second one on sli i have no lucky, its not good for overclock.

Any way i will try to check
