Would at least reduce the noise, if you are a silent guy like me.
Due to better cooling the card will drain little less power (290X OC drained 470 Watt from the Wall (whole system) and 440 Watt with while being watercooled) and components are going to live longer due to better temperatures.
I've done some other tests on my 1080 yesterday and found out my card clocks up to 2055 if I put the fans on 100% for cooling.
It goes up to 2088 without changing anything beside adding some voltage. I didnt test if that also increase the performance, tho.
Personally I'll watercool it for the noise and hopefully better OC-Result which comes at least with the cooling (72°C (auto), 55°C (100%) compared to 45°C being watercooled).
