I got around a hundred megahertz from doing the TDP mod on my FE. From 1975ish to 2088-2100, depending on whether it crosses 55C or not lol.

I'm running an FE. I'm doing the mod this way specifically so I can use the stock VRM/RAM heatplate.

Just woke up... lol. Going to finish now.
Let us know if the rest of the Reference Shroud can fit on top of that pump , you might have to unscrew the Plexiglass from inside thumb.gif

Thinking about doing this, I just put the EVGA hybrid cooler for the 10 series on last night and now I don't cross 50C and I can manage 2025-2100mhz. Wondering if the tdp mod will push this a bit more..

Not pretty as the damn thing is painted instead of being black andonized.

But functional. Did a good job with the grinding I think, so many edges to take care of after cutting.

Now it's exactly what you'd get from EVGA or the Artisan Store here.

Also hatched this while grinding.... smile.gif

After some further testing on the FTW versus FE BIOS:
FTW Slave BIOS (Click to show)
FE BIOS (Click to show)

TL;DR: The FE Bios got me 1 clock up (it hits 2126 actually), a few degrees less, less TDP% and all that with 1.062V against 1.093V from FTW original BIOS. Oh, and almost 200 points more on FS.

Go figure...
