System power consumption was also close to 350W level on a certain 6700K bench which is ridiculous for a 1080.

It's likely to be just those gimmicky for certain group of not-so-smart Chinese and that's why it's only being sold in China.

Asus Strix AG vs. OG. Can I flash the bios on AG to OG without hassle? Anyone tried it yet?
What about the non overclock strix versions? Worth spending 60 extra for higher clocks or OK to just flash the non OC version to OG bios?

What up?

Safe Money - buy the non OC Strix and download BIOS here from Forum or
https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/?architecture=NVIDIA&manufacturer=&model=GTX+1080&interface=&memType=&memSize=8192

Mine is under water and seems to perform best with No Limit t4 strix bios ( only with newest nvidia Drivers ) , evga FE bios and strix OC Version bios thumb.gif

that is disappointing

in another note GALA\KFA2 HOF 1080 limited edition have a base clock of 1809mhz and boost to 1961mhz which is the highest clocks promoted for a GPU

Hi, can you share the EVGA FTW bios to me?
I am currently using the Gaming X with the Gaming Z bios, and so far so good.
Thinking to try another bios version and since you have tried the EVGA FTW bios, i would like to test it out tongue.gif

Have you noticed any stability problems on games with XOC T4 bios? So far T4 bios have been working well, but some people have had crashes on games while using it. Currently full stability @ 2114MHz AIR with T4 bios, temps are also fine. smile.gif
