Maybe he's just talking about when benchmarking and not prolonged gaming.

Appreciate the info, but don't throw numbers around without being clear on what you're actually saying; 55C @100% fan under what scenario? idle, Valley, Heaven, 3DMark, drunk, high, floating in space, etc? biggrin.gif

At IDLE, I'm at 43C, fan 1400rpm, ambient 26C/79F, stock gpu.

Which bios? Anyone know? I cannot find much on Google. I have a 1080FE. I want it to boost to 2000 without msi afterburner.

Anyone?

He said 55C through a Firestrike Stress Test, that heats up my GPU to around the 68C mark so Idk.

So blew some cash on some EK Gear for my FE. Just waiting on radiators before I throw my mITX under water which I promised myself I wouldn't do again. sad-smiley-002.gif

My card is now idling at 34C 60% fan speed (inaudible). Local temp is 30C here (can't tell room temp).

I get +-55C with hours of gaming, mostly R6S. Through a Firestrike bench if it's a cool day I get 50C tops. Heaven, which is light too, tops out at 55C. I get veeeeery random, not so often, spikes to 59-60. But most of the time it's around 55C.

2126mhz/+500mem/1.062V/130%TDP/100%fan/No side panel

Clear enough?

Much better, ty, and nice temps, especially idle, but what's your ambient temp? Is your house an igloo? tongue.gif

You sure your GPU was actually idling (like at 139MHz)?

My Palit JetStream sits at ~38C with fans not spinning. Ambient 28/29C.

My card runs about 72C at 100% fan speed is this normal? It's a reference 1080.

Idle is about 40 or so.
