BTW: In Nvidia Control Panel, I set Power management mode to Prefer maximum performance, is it common to leave other settings default to ensure max performance, purely for benchmarking, not gaming.

Valley (All Stock except power managemend in NCP)
Code:
Card score fps min/max
------------------------------------------------------
FTW 4116 98 39/186
CLASS 4048 97 36/170

Is that benched at the highest preset?

Finally got my 2x STRIX A8. Both my cards are boosting to ~1930-2000 out of the box, without touching it yet. Is this good?

Finally I can play W3 @4K mostly max details 60fps. I have shadows on medium (Barely noticeable from Ultra) and Hairworks AA on 2x and it doesnt drop under 60 fps. If I change hairworks AA to 8x and shadows to Ultra my fps drops to ~48 fps.

I recently got mine too. Overclocking headroom is not that great though, but was already known somewhat. Tested to just +107 core. But decided to stick to +100 with a custom fan curve for now.

Spieler4 - how did You get her stable on +176 MHz Core?

Here's mine:

I can go up to +150/+700 for benchmarks, but for gaming I'm topped on +100/+500. Do I have a bad piece? My temps never go above 46°C in gaming and 48°C with +150/+700 in heaven.

I need to have 105% power limit, w/o it I can't even go on +100/+500 :/

best regards

To what "preset" are you referring?

Playing around with Scanner in Precision X, ran simple test from 0 to 125MHz, 12.5 steps, 20s intervals. Test completed, just not sure what to make of that gap?

From my recent research manual OC should give better results than no matter how you did to voltage curve. Not sure if this has been updated.

There are 3 presets, not including custom. Thinking about it now you were probably benching at a custom resolution.

Is that the general consensus? I'm playing with it cuz it's kinda cool and interesting, but to early for me to comment on performance.

Factory/stock, the only change I made was Performance management mode in NCP.
