Seems like Amazon went full retard with my cards. Let's hope they are intact.

Some products are, by request of the manufacturer, sent in original boxes. When ordering, Amazon offers: "send in an Amazon box" tick box for you so they (free of charge) put the product in a standard Amazon box to protect the contents.

Careful next time. smile.gif

Guys, screen and sound freeze for like 5 seconds, then the computer restarts without any BSOD. That looks more like a CPU crash than GPU, right? Or could it be GPU?

I must have gotten the worst 4690K in the whole planet frown.gif

Really? I thought I had a decent PSU. I researched when I built this rig and found out Seasonic makes XFX PSUs, please someone correct me If I'm wrong. And I think 850W is more than enough for 4690K + GTX1080

It's probably your CPU. Complete freeze can be cache from what I've experienced. smile.gif

I can't think of why it could be the PSU. If it was doing that on stock It's one thing.

My CPU is the worst...I can't get it stable with 4.5ghz@1.320V and stock cache 3.5ghz. That's the setting I was using when I got the crashes. Tried ramping input from 1.9 to 2.0V but still got crashes. Went back to 4.3ghz@1.25V and everything seems fine.

Can't wait to get a cannonlake and retire this lazy cpu...guess I'm stuck with it for another 1,5 years...

Yeah, you are fine if you play at 1080 or 1440P 60Hz smile.gif
