I'm tapped out at +200 on the core and +400 for memory. 225 crashes the core and 425 gives less FPS. I got fan speed @100% while testing. Waiting on my EK block so I can actually game on it while OCed (right now the noise is way to much for me).

Dumb question but how is memory speed calculated? Heaven bench shows it at 5400, GPUz shows 1251, and the card is advertised as 10010 MHz. I'm very confused

Memory clockspeeds can be reported in different ways by different tools. 1251 and 10010 are just different representations of the same thing, and 10010 is in fact a perfect multiple of 1251 (if the decimals weren't rounded off) though these numbers don't reflect your overclock whereas the 5400 number does.

It's kinda sad my overclocked 1080's are only 13% faster than my overclocked 980 Ti's. Kinda of a wasted upgrade, but I wanted to try out the new SLI bridge.

So when are the aftermarket 1080's hitting?

Been thinking about it and even gaining 10fps or so at my current res of 3440x1440 would put me above the 60 mark min fps in enough games to make it worth it. Also I'm doubting the 1080 ti's will be out in less then 9 - 12 months.

Would also be kind of interesting to check out a lower TDP gpu since the last two main GPU's I've owned have been 250w.

Anyone with an X34 and a 980 ti moving to a 1080 can relay their experience in newer games? Was the move worth it? Gsync does a good job of covering dips, but, I still find myself wanting to be at 60+. Oh, my 980 ti is also a crap oc'er that runs hot.

Got my 4x 1080 Founder's Edition cards. biggrin.gif

Now, only if we can actually use 4-Way SLI!?!?! mad.gif

Any updates on ETA for the unlock? And what about the new HB SLI bridges?

It's not available yet. Seriously, why would you even consider this anymore? Just stop...stop and think what you are doing, man!

Pushing above > +190 on the core crashes my cards in SLI. Even though the temps stay below < 83c. (100% fan test just not the be limited by the temp to be sure) + 175 seems to be the sweet spot for me. It results in 1950 ~ 2025 in most games and a fan profile that doesnt sound like my pc is taxing for take off. 70-80 fps with overwatch @5k is awesome. My front intake is only 1 fan though, getting 2 extra fans today for some more airflow to the cards. If 2.1ghz is really a wall it isnt worth to buy EK blocks and another radiator for me.

I've seen similar results with my FE card on the stock cooler. Around 2050mhz I get the odd artefact.
