Thanks bro,
Yeah - the OCN threads require a specific (default) setting so that the data are all comparable. In aggregate, It really helps understanding the different generations and improvements over time. thumb.gif

Firestrike is the most CPU dependent of the three. Extreme less and Ultra is the least CPU dependent. A 2700K is at the top of the chart for single card FSU. thumb.gif

Ok sweet mate.

I'll be getting a Gigabyte GTX1080 Extreme gaming in the next 2 weeks or so, will add those results as well.

Notice r0l4n specified that the score was "Graphics Score". Still, his 18K FS raw score is right in 980Ti/ TX territory!

How bad is it? Can you hear it? Someone else just mentioned it too. That is unacceptable for a $700 card. I have an evga fe coming next week.

You can definitely hear it. Happens as well when the gpu is at rest but gets load suddenly, it spikes for a couple of seconds and gets back in check. This happens even at idle temps.

I agree, this should not happen, but it's not so annoying as to RMA the card (this is a personal opinion). I expect they'll address this in a future vBios.
