Quite an impressive run.

You guys who got two 1080 running in SLI, how do you like it so far ? Have you notice any micro stuttering or such ?

I was gonna get two Evga 1080 FE, but endet up just getting one of them (the store sold them out in a matter of minutes) but they will soon come in stock again, so i figured maybe ill place an order and get the second card now along with a new water block/backplate.

I know that the new nvidia sli bridge wount work with two EK blocks, but im hoping that EK will release thier own bridge soon.

Im planing on getting the new Kaby lake cpu along with a new 200-series motherboard and some ddr4 to replace my old z97 setup, the plan was to get two 1080ti´s too, but since i got a monitor who can max do 100hz (pg348q), i really dont need more then 100fps in games at max settings, one 1080 can almost handle that, a few titles run under 100fps (gta 5 for exemple).

But now im thinking about getting an extra 1080 and just skip the 1080ti all together. Another tought would be to get two 1080ti when they come out, but every fps over 100 would just be a waste.

Does Valley still report higher than actual clocks or has that now changed?

None of the benchmarks really report the clocks correctly. I noticed though, that once you flash to a custom bios, at least on Maxwell, they DID show correctly. At least on the Unigine benchmarks.

Thinking about buying a 1080 but don't want to wait for aftermarket ones. Should I just go for the FE despite its mediocre temps? I much prefer the look of the FE too.
