Is that the card I bought from you?

Edit: it is. It'll be under water this Friday. I'm psyched to see what she can do!

Hello.

I have GTX 1080 Evga ACX 3.0.

Can anyone make a bios to raise Power taget to 140% instead of 120?

No, they don't.

I can't believe that after all this time people are still not understanding how these cards work with GPU boost and why their speeds etc are all over or scores are lower than they should be.

It's fairly intuitive, at least to me & I've never even owned a GPU with GPU Boost before now. tongue.gif

Is it me or this card just sucks in SLI? My 980's SC were great in SLI. Supposedly one 1080 is supposed to come close to a pair of 980's that can handle almost anything at max settings in 1440p/60fps. You'd think with two 1080's 4K/60fps would be easily achievable but they struggle a lot to do that.

Yep, I'm one of those people that don't understand everything. Please explain why memory clocks are designed to run well below manufacturers spec when running GPU computational tasks.

Well my opinion on this, is that the whole turbo/boost idea is nothing short of stupid and used only for marketing purposes.

The 1080 with 1 resistor bypassed and massively increased fan RPM seems to stay above 2000MHz all the time,
