Its just lottery, i had 2x1080 from polish komputronik shop, One of them is a beast, 2nd is crap (coil whine as hell and i RMA), and ofcourse its all about the way of overclocking. When i started posting here with my high clocks above 2200 i always wondered why my performance not increase linearly with core clock. Now i know that the stupid boost 3.0 and the curve is the key. Not only the highest clock. And ofcourse the big mystery is the memory. I think without vram modding or bios editor i got stuck with that.

Yeah, propably i will bcz Titan X tempt me. But i think my wife would kill me to know how much I spent for the next card. She does not know about the other card biggrin.gifbiggrin.gifbiggrin.gif

I agree with juniordnz, sell it to the highest bidder & upgrade to a 1080Ti/Titan XP.

Thanks for posting the curve. I was setting up a very linear curve. I want to try this. It might be the best way to break this 2214mhz wall that I've hit for stable. I know I can't catch you, but it's fun trying. wink.gif

As for the card itself, that's one hell of a card & on air, no less!
I agree with juniordnz, sell it to the highest bidder & upgrade to a 1080Ti/Titan XP unless you just want to benchmark. I would be curious to see how that score stacks up against Titan XP scores. I know I can look it up it, but I don't want to be tempted to buy one, lol. thumb.gif

I change little more the curve and the results are higher so it depends on every card i think, try to find sweet point between stability and max performance. Last 3 days im doing only this. The curve. And the performance increased day after day. Until yesterday when i hit the wall. Maybe with Bios Editor or/and water cooling i can go a little further.

Is it a certain bios only that this works on?

It seems crazy to me that as soon as voltage hits 1.093, you'd force the core way up to 2300mhz and the core actually being okay with it.

Both of your guys' cards were high clockers from the beginning weren't they?

In 1st day i set 1.000v and 2151mhz core clock stable only with sliders. Without changing the curve, Only locking the voltage by "L".

And it was the first sign that it might be good.

EDIT: I tried playing around with this....didn't do a thing for the GPU in my rig right now. Still stuck around 2163. I might drop the other one in this weekend and try again. It was a little better overclocker.

Yeah, i always use gpu-z in the background. Catch the log:

Know anybody the name of this Tool i need it for my classified to look how high i can push my clock. Actually i can get 2164 Mhz clock and 490 Memory gamestable... but i need more ^^
sry my english is not the best ...

i found the test only on german site : http://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.php/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/40215-evga-geforce-gtx-1080-classified-im-test.html?start=19

It would be the Evbot.
http://www.evga.com/articles/00521/

Good luck on getting one they were discontinued I believe it was a conflict with NVidia and the ability of unlocking the 7XX series of cards without voiding warrantee, this it my speculation.
Google translate always works wonders

i have the evbot but the display is broken...... -.-
I think I have expressed myself wrong....they use a software tool like the Classified Controller , is already a new version out there?

I need to play around with clocks a little more. I've done absolutely no game testing, but I will do a little tonight.
I broke 2300mhz (2303mhz), but 2316 is in no way stable.

A question for everyone here, is there any way to force core clocks? I cannot set any speed between 2278mhz & 2290mhz. No matter where I set the curve, the clock either moves up or down in speed, depending on how close they are to either speed. Does anyone know anything about this?

What's wrong with your score...24k is the area where these cards are crossing bare stock boosting close to 2ghz not 2300...something is definitely wrong with your result or the clocks reported and the real ones highly deffer

Not to sure but I found this bios for the Strix removing the Power limit removed completely
Also others are reporting this bios works on FE, Zotac and Evga
Of course it is do it at your own risk.

I had the same problem couple days ago, its only matter of adjusting properly the curve and setting the highest performance memory clocks.

thx for help smile.gif
The Problem with this Bios ( strix t4) is the performance..... lower fps and bench results but higher clocks ....
I think the only way to push the voltage is to wait for Pascal Tweaker tool ...

We already have one that works flawlessly tongue.gif
