I know that Gainward/Palit/Gamerock are basically all the same, so I think about Flashing a Super-JetStream Bios onto my JetStream Card..

1. Is this a good Idea or should i try OC manually?
2. Are there any more benefits from the Super-JetStream Bios ? (not just higher clocks?, e.g. FanCurve?)
3. Any other suggestions? ^^

1. Yeah, u can flash without risk (if u know how to do it)
2. I dont think so - u will hit the Power Limit wall still. But u should try. Sometimes different bios gives u couple FPS more at the same core clock and voltage. For me the best is FE Bios but i use asus strix oc bios bcz no more power limit.

Thought I would chime in here since I have the Gainward GTX 1080 GLH Edition.

The bottom line is, the equivalent Palit and Gainward cards are exactly the same (eg; Palit Super Jetsream = Gainward GLH........ Palit Jetstream = Gainward GS). Same boards, same clocks, same coolers etc etc.. The only difference are the cooler shrouds and the naming in the BIOS.

I know a few GS (Golden Sample) owners have flashed the GLH BIOS and gained on clocks but as far as I know, that is the only difference. One would assume that the Super Jetstream and the GLH models are binned and guarantee the higher clocks, whilst you might well be ok flashing the lower clocked model, you might reduce your OC headroom or even run into artifacts due to the chip not being quite good enough for the increased clocks.

That said, they have dual BIOS so you can easily go back if it doesn't work out. I say give it a go!smile.gif

Well..i guess i give it a try smile.gif

But warranty is void then, even with Dual Bios i guess? But isnt it possible to reflash the "stock" bios before trying to use warranty? ^^

Anyway, did u even realise Palit released a new Bios a few Days ago?
http://palit.com/palit/vgapro.php?id=2619&lang=de&pn=NEB1080S15P2-1040J&tab=do

Sadly "only" for Gamrock Premium and SuperJetstream, but with my Plans with Flashing 1 of them to my JetStream it would be awesome.

Guess this new Bios adresses the Micron Ship "bug"

I think your warranty would only be void if you were to send it back with an incorrect BIOS, best thing would be to extract your current BIOS (both of them to be sure) so you can flash it back to stock.

I didn't know there was an updated vBIOS, I just checked the Gainward site and it looks like the BIOS for my card was updated about a week before the Palit so I'll extract my current BIOS and try the new one when I get home from work. Not heard of the Micron Ship "Bug" though.....

Anyone here successfuly flashed the Strix T4 BIOS to a 1080FTW? I tried long ago and it bricked my card, now I'm not sure I was flashing the correct one.

If any FTW owner did it successfuly would you be so kind to link me to the correct BIOS?

Where's the link to the latest T4 BIOS? Want to flash my FE again.

At 2139/500+ on mem I'm only getting 24K on graphic score. What's wrong? My CPU is probably not the issue. tongue.gif
